H. Larry Ingle is retired from teaching hisory at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. His most recent book is Nixon’s First Cover-Up, from the University of Missouri Press, about the former president’s long concealment and obfuscation of his Quaker membership and identity.
Jacob Stone is a longtime member of Doylestown Monthly Meeting (PhYM). He is now living in retirement in Montpelier, Vermont after a long career in human services and human services education at Marywood University and The University of Alaska Fairbanks, as well as serving as an ethicist and ethics trainer. He and his wife Gretta have served as Friends in Residence at Pendle Hill and at Chena Ridge Meeting in Fairbanks, Alaska, and as Co-Directors for five years at Ben Lomond Quaker Center in California. They have also been leading couple enrichment events for twenty one years.
