Quaker Theology #30/#31

From the Qur’an:

2:155-156: And certainly, we shall test you with something of fear; hunger; loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to the patient ones, who, when afflicted with calamity say, ‘Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return.’
2:216; It may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.
3:140: If a wound [and killing] has touched you, be sure a similar wound [and killing] has touched the others.
3:145: And no person can ever die except by Allah’s leave and at an appointed term.
4:110: And whoever does evil or wrongs himself but afterwards seeks Allah’s forgiveness, he will find Allah Oft- forgiving, Most merciful.
5:82: And you will find the nearest in love to the believers, those who say: “We are Christians.”
13:11: For each [person] there are angels in succession, before and behind him. They guard him by the Command of Allah.
13:24: Peace be upon you, because you persevered in patience! Excellent indeed is the final home!
14:34: And if you could count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them.
16:127: And endure you patiently, your patience is not but from Allah.
25:63: The worshipers of the All-Merciful are they who tread gently upon the earth, and when the ignorant address them, they reply, “Peace!”
41:34: Repel that which is evil with one which is better, then verily! He, between whom and you there was enmity, [will become] as though he was a close friend.
42:28: And he is it Who sends down the rain after they have despaired, and spreads abroad His Mercy.
42:40: But whoever forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah.
76:9; We feed you seeking Allah’s Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you.
